Geauga Growth Partnership, in collaboration with Kent State University Geauga Campus, is excited to launch a new Peer Group designed specifically for newly promoted or recently hired supervisors, especially those stepping into a management role for the first time. Designed and facilitated by KSU Geauga professors, Julie Evey and Velvet Weems-Landingham.

Purpose of Supervisor Peer Group: To provide an ongoing learning opportunity, in which employees who are new to having direct reports, gain skills and knowledge required of their role at work, while sharing and learning in a small cohort of peers.

– February 18th, 2025: Kickoff in-person event: 8:00am – 9:30am
– February 25th – March 25th:  Virtual huddles held each Tuesday morning: 8:00am – 9:30am
– April to December. 2025: Monthly one-hour virtual huddles Day and time to be determined by the cohort.
