Founded in 1929, Camp Ho Mita Koda is the world's oldest operating camp for kids with Type 1 Diabetes. Located in Newbury OH, Camp Ho Mita Koda offers an array of programming, including: Summer Camp, Teen Weekend, Women's Wellness Retreat, Family Camp and more. Our organization meets the highest standards in the industry and is accredited by the American Camp Association, along with a member of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association.

Additionally, our facilities are available to rent for corporate retreats, weddings, meetings, family reunions, mission-partner programming and more. Rentals can choose to add on team building and camp activities, including: kayaking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, low ropes course, archery, tomahawk throwing, swimming and more.

Camp Ho Mita Koda welcomes volunteer groups throughout the year to assist with a variety of projects.
