Join us for an informative Lunch + Learn at Hayashi Mayple with Dave Lupyan of SCORE Cleveland.  This non-profit organization affiliated with the Small Business Administration (SBA) is committed to fostering and educating the small business community in Northeast Ohio and throughout the United States. They help drive economic growth and job creation through small business formation and support.  

Doors open at 11:30am for a brief networking window.  The program begins promptly at 12pm and ends at 1pm.

Why do some small businesses succeed and others fail? What role does the initial idea play in its success?

Dave Lupyan, a SCORE volunteer, and a product commercialization consultant in NE Ohio, will discuss these topics. He will introduce never-fail product concepts and show you the 6 rules of successful product commercialization, regardless if you have a physical product, a new service, or even a retail store. These concepts are universally recognized and practiced by all successful businesses.

Bio and Background | Dave Lupyan

Dave has spent 40 years leading business development programs for Fortune 500 companies such as BASF and Pennzoil Corp. In that role, Dave had the responsibility of finding the “good idea”, selling the idea to the organization, and ultimately working with sales & marketing to commercialize the idea as a new product.

Currently Dave works with SCORE as a volunteer to help start-ups and mid-market companies grow and prosper in NE Ohio. SCORE services are free and are supported by the SBA.
